The Border Directors offer you a varied programme of concert material, from lively jigs, rants and hornpipes, to soulful airs on the Northumbrian and Border pipes. Instrumental sets are interspersed with song, both humorous and evocative, from Tyneside to the Scottish border.
Each member of the band is an established performer in their own right, and in ensemble the performance includes a selection of original music composed in a traditional idiom alongside exciting arrangements of the established repertoire of the region.
